SUPPORTING YOU IN YOUR RECOVERY JOURNEY
Welcome to Divine Recovery which is a service that works with adults aged 18-65 with complex needs. Our goal is to help client's stay active and involved while supporting independence for as long as possible. We offer a wide range of facilities and services to support the client group we work with, whilst, working at the pace of the individual and the NHS care plan.

Accommodation
3 units for either male or female within Croydon area. All units with ample communal space, toilet...

Health and Wellness
Respite service offering intense 1:1 support where required. Support with work and college placement.

Support plan
Our support staff will work with you and agree a care plan to help stop or reduce problematic alcohol or drug use.

Our Vision
Divine Recovery is the vision of two individuals who between them have over 40 years of experience in Health and Social Care. A registered and qualified Social Worker who is Systemically trained, is a Signs of Safety Lead, a Practice Educator and has who has worked in various Social Work settings including Looked after Children, Leaving Care, Child Protection, has been an Independent Review Officer.

We know how difficult it can be to navigate the mental health and substance misuse landscape alone. All of our staff have different backgrounds and specialisations, but they all have one thing in common: a commitment to helping others on their journey of recovery.

We offer different levels of care to ensure that all individuals receive the support they need at the right time in their recovery. We strive to provide a safe, welcoming place where individuals can explore new ways of living without fear of judgement or discrimination.

Length Of Stay
we aim to support and assist recovery for move on within 18-24 months from date of admission. However recovery is individualized and we would review progress quarterly to ensure we are on the right track and work at the pace of our clients alongside the MDT team.

Respite
The service also provides respite for patients who are delayed in hospital for a period of six weeks.
Female
Our all female service will work specifically with adults with challenging behaviours such as Learning Difficulties, Autism and offending behaviour. Support staff will receive additional training where needed to help support this client group.


Peer Support
Divine Recovery encourages peer-to peer support through discussions, listening and understanding your experiences. We will facilitate one to one groups if needed.
Eligibility Criteria
- Male or female in single sex units ages 18-65
- If subject to CPA or any part of the Mental health Act a recent report should be available.
- Recently updated risk assessment
- Service User is prepared to engage with support services provided
- Service User is eligible to access welfare benefits and has capacity to consent to placement
- Service user is willing to pay weekly contribution towards household bills
- Service User’s current ADL (Assessment of Independent Living Skills) identifies a degree of independence
- A willingness to address support needs e.g. Mental health, drugs/alcohol, gambling, anger management, education and leisure activities, etc.
- Service user to have an understanding that when placement objective has been met, there is an expectation to move on to less supported accommodation
